My name is Kiyanu Baker, I have worked most of my life in the construction industry. While I enjoyed the construction industry, and it offered me many opportunities to learn siding, roofing, and painting, I felt I needed to expand my career, have a more hands on approach and start helping individuals more.

When the opportunity to become an insurance agent was presented to me, I was a little apprehensive. What did I know about the insurance industry? How can I help others? These questions were, at my core, overwhelming to say the least. But I decided I needed to give it a try. After going through more than 40 hours of online training and months of in person training, I passed my exam, became licensed and appointed to all the major insurance companies in Minnesota and I am now ready, excited, and looking forward to assisting you.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family. When I am not helping my mom and grandma keep up on the upkeep of their home, I spend a lot of time playing with my nephews, nieces, and cousins. I enjoy many outdoor activities including camping, kayaking, biking, and fishing. I feel that it is important to give back to the community and to a sport that has shaped me into the man I am today, that is why, I volunteer coach wrestling at Coon Rapids High School. The amount of enjoyment I get seeing others achieving more than they thought they could, it is what drives me to help them succeed and why I thought helping others with their insurance needs would go hand in hand with one another.
